With the help of the teams who have participated in this annual event, as well as community sponsors and generous donations, we have been fortunate enough over the past seven years to award over $203, 300 to 69 student/athletes in the form of scholarships for them to further their education beyond high school. Who is eligible to be considered for the scholarships?
- Any Senior who is participating in the tournament is eligible.
- Students must be attending college in the Fall of 2024.
- Students need to write a short essay, no more than one page.
- Essay could include a little about yourself and what the scholarship would mean to you. Maybe write about what you and Austin have in common.
- Essays are submitted by email to [email protected] Please include your cell phone number and school name.
- The Gorrell Family will get together on Sunday and Monday night to choose the recipients.
- Scholarship recipients will be announced prior to the Championship Game.
